I recently got involved with a married man, which I know is not right by any means. To make this long story short. It happened, sexual at first and then became very emotional. He told me he loved me and wanted to be with me forever and that someday we would, he bought be a diamond necklace with a heart on it and said his heart belonged to me. I believed him, I could see me in his eyes. He even told my best friend how much he adored and loved me upon running into her. He left his wife for 1 week and then went back and told her about me and what had happened and then told me he couldn’t talk to me anymore and he was so sorry. His wife called me and asked all kinds of questions and told me they are going to counseling and that he said he didn’t care about me, I just made him feel good and like a man. I told her I wouldn’t bother him anymore and I havn’t. Im struggling with wondering if he meant anything he said? Did he love me? Does he miss me? Does he wonder if I’m ok? Why he did this all of sudden with no warning? Most of all, is their relationship going to get better because he went home and was honest and she knows that if she doesn’t give him what he needs, he will do it again? Did he just get to return home and start where he left off and be happy? He said he was so unhappy and didn’t want to be with her anymore, it was just hard because of the kids. Did he go home for them? Im moving on, just struggling with unanswered questions… When his wife asked me if he told me he loved me, I told her no and that was not the truth just didn’t want to hurt her anymore. I didn’t tell her about the necklace either.
